Drury travels to Indianapolis for the GLVC Quarterfinals
Indianapolis host Drury for the first round of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) playoffs.

Drury and Indianapolis played in Springfield on October 4 with a 2-2 tie being the result. Carson Morgan scored both goals for the Panthers off of corner kicks in the 4th and 45th minutes. August Abrahmsen scored in the 27th minute for the Greyhounds and Lucas Bedleg in the 77th. Indy outshot Drury 18-10. However, every shot that the Panthers got on goal resulted in a score.

The Panthers clinched the fifth seed in the GLVC tournament after their 1-0 win over Southwest Baptist on Sunday. Abdullah Iqbal had the game winning goal in the 29th minute that punched the Panthers ticket. Drury is led offensively by Joe Loughnane with 15 points, four goals and seven assists. Last week, Loughnane was the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week. This will be the fourth GLVC tournament Drury has made in a row. The Panthers are only 1-2 in their first-round matchups.

Indianapolis is the fourth seed in the GLVC tournament. The Greyhounds have not won a game since October 13, five games. In those five games their record is 0-2-3. In Indy's regular season finale against Lewis, Medard Mikobi scored the lone goal in their 2-1 loss. Ionas Giovanidis recorded two saves. Last season, Indy won the conference playoffs as a three seed, with two of their wins coming in penalty kicks. Since 2020, the Greyhounds have won all but one tournament game having a record of 10-1.

The winner of this game will head to St. Louis on Friday to play the winner of Lewis and Rockhurst at Creve Coeur Park.
