rury wraps up three-game week with Truman State
Drury plays their third home game this week on Saturday when they host Truman State at 3 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

The Panthers are 5-2 and 1-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury started the week with an 86-57 win over Southwest Baptist on Monday, then lost to Quincy 92-59 on Thursday. Thursday's loss snapped Drury's four-game winning streak.

Truman State is 4-4 and 0-2 in the GLVC. The Bulldogs are coming off an 84-75 loss at Southwest Baptist on Thursday.

Zach Howell leads Drury in scoring, averaging 16.6 points. The sophomore is shooting 45 percent from three-point range, having hit 24 of 54 attempts.
Juok Riak is averaging 13.8 points, while
Logan Applegate is putting up 11.7 points per game.

Drury leads the all-time series against Truman State 13-11 and the two teams split the games against one another last year. The Bulldogs won at home 68-63 over Drury on Jan. 20, while the Panthers won in the O', 90-87, on March 2.

After Saturday's game, the Panthers won't take the floor again until Dec. 16, when they host Central Christian (Mo.) at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

About the Bulldogs
Truman State was the preseason favorite in the GLVC preseason coaches poll, receiving six first place votes. The Bulldogs opened conference play with a loss at home to Rockhurst, 90-77, on Nov. 26, and lost on Thursday, 84-75, at Southwest Baptist.

The Bulldogs are led by Kobi Williams, averaging 13.4 points and 4.3 rebounds per game. The sophomore from St. Louis, Mo., was the GLVC Freshman of the Year last season and averaged 12.3 points in conference games. Truman State head coach Jeff Horner was also the GLVC Coach of the Year last season.

Truman State shoots 48 percent from the field, 37 percent from three-point range (making an average of 10 three's per game), and they are 81 percent from the free throw line this season.
