Drury faces Maryville in final regular season road test
Drury travels to St. Louis on Saturday to face Maryville for their final road game of the regular season. Tipoff is at 1 pm.
 
The Panthers are 13-12 and 6-11 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury will be looking to bounce back from a 90-72 loss at Missouri S&T on Thursday.
 
Maryville is 11-12 and 7-10 in the GLVC. The Saints have gone 7-6 at home and are coming off a 64-48 win at home over Southwest Baptist on Thursday. The 48 points allowed to the Bearcats marked a season low for Maryville.
 
Drury leads the all-time series 22-4 and won the earlier meeting this season, 71-62, on Jan. 11 in Springfield.
 
Logan Applegate leads the Panthers, averaging 14.4 points. The sophomore from Nevada ranks second in the GLVC in three-pointers, with 63, and he leads the GLVC in steals with 1.9 per game.
 
After Saturday's game, Drury heads into the final week of the regular season with two home games. The Panthers will host Upper Iowa on Thursday at 7:45 pm, then will host Truman State on Saturday at 1 pm in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

Maryville ranks second in the GLVC in points allowed, surrendering just 68.4 points per game.
 
Luke Williams leads the Saints, averaging 11.7 points. Tutu Chisholm is Maryville's top rebounder and ranks seventh in the GLVC, averaging 6.7 per game.
