Panthers travel to Rockhurst to open KC trip 
The Drury Panthers travel to Rockhurst on Thursday as they start a two-game road trip to Kansas City.
 
Drury has won their last two games and enters Thursday's game with a 12-8 record and a 5-7 mark in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers are coming off a 79-66 win at Southwest Baptist on Saturday and ended a homestand on Jan. 27 with a 74-59 win over Illinois Springfield.
 
Rockhurst is 10-11 and 6-7 in the conference. The Hawks lost at Illinois Springfield 92-69 on Saturday in their last game, but two nights earlier, won at Quincy 92-69.
 
Thursday's game is the second meeting between the two teams this season. The Panthers won the earlier game this season, 89-79, on Jan. 6 in the O'Reilly Family Event. Drury leads the all-time series 80-46 in a rivalry that dates back nearly a century.
 
Logan Applegate leads Drury, averaging 15.5 points. The sophomore from Nevada, Missouri, has made 55 three's, third-most in the GLVC and he ranks fourth in the league in steals with 1.8 per game.
 
The Panthers continue the road trip on Saturday when they take on William Jewell at 3 pm in Liberty, Missouri.
 
About the Hawks
Rockhurst is second-best in the GLVC in three-pointers made, averaging 10.6 made three's per game. The Hawks are third-best in the league in percentage behind the arc with a .383 mark.
 
Timaris Brown ranks eighth in the GLVC in scoring, averaging 15.8 points, and he is ninth in rebounding at 6.5 per contest. Miles White is the league's third-best three-point shooting, averaging 2.4 made per made and posting a .463 percentage.
