KANSAS CITY, Mo.— The Rockhurst Hawks defeated the Drury Panthers with strong three-point shooting on Thursday night, winning 94-67.

After a tightly contested first half, the Hawks were able to build a decent lead heading into halftime. Drury forward
Riley Naeger, provided a strong scoring effort for the Panthers in the first half, with
Logan Applegate also adding several buckets for Drury.
Rockhurst opened the second half hot, with Timaris Brown leading a scoring attack for the Hawks. The Panthers would rally to cut the Rockhurst lead to just four after an offensive assault early in the second half. The Hawks responded with a three-point assault of their own, hitting several shots from beyond the arc to ultimately pull away for the win.
The Hawks now move to 11-11 and 7-7 in conference play, while Drury moves to 12-9 and 5-8 for the season.
Riley Naeger led Drury with 15 points and
Luke Stubbs contributed 10 points in eight minutes for the Panthers. Timaris Brown and Miles White both scored 19 points, leading Rockhurst in the victory.

The Panthers will be back in action on Saturday, when they travel to William Jewell to take on the Cardinals. Tip off will be at 3 pm at the Mabee Center in Liberty.
