QUINCY, Ill. – Drury men's soccer fell 2-0 to Quincy in the first Great Lakes Conference (GLVC) game of the weekend. 
 
Mason Platts opened the game with a shot in the first minute that missed wide of the goal. Carson Morgan had a chance from a free kick in the seventh minute, but couldn't find the target. Quincy applied pressure in the 13^th minute with two shots, both saved by Camden Meyer. The Hawks broke through in the 25^th to give Quincy a 1-0 lead. Drury couldn't respond until the last minute of the half with a shot from Liam Olson that just missed wide. The Panther went into the break trailing 1-0.  
 
Drury pressed for an equalizer early in the second half. Joe Loughnane fired the first shot of the half in the 47^th minute, which missed left of the net. Gage Vehr had a shot in the 48^th minute, followed by two shots from Lui Bull in the 49^th and 50^th minutes. A foul in the box gave Quincy a penalty kick in the 60^th minute, which the Hawks scored to go up 2-0.  Dane Prost and Carson Morgan tried to get the Panthers a goal, but were stopped by the Quincy keeper in the 65^th and 70^th minutes. Drury continued to find a way back into the game with shots from Mattheo Ledoux, Guilherme Maia, and Sergio Aznar, but they were all stopped by the Quincy goalkeeper. The Panthers fell 2-0 on the road to Quincy.

• Two shots from Quincy in the 13^th minute forced two saves from Camden Meyer.
• The Hawks found a goal in the 25^th minute. 
• Quincy had two more shots in the 31^st minute that didn't find the target. 
• Drury closed the half with a shot from Liam Olson that just missed the frame. 
• The Panthers went into halftime down 1-0, with only three shots to Quincy's 12. 
• Joe Loughnane recorded the first shot of the second half.
• Gage Vehr and Lui Bull tried to find an equalizer around the 50^th minute.
• A foul in the box led to a penalty kick for the Hawks, which they converted from in the 60^th minute. 
• Dane Prost and Carson Morgan responded with shots in the 65^th and 70^th minute.
• Drury continued to press for a goal with shots from Mattheo Ledoux, Guilherme Maia, and Sergio Aznar, but all were stopped by the Quincy keeper. 
• The Panthers fell 2-0 to Quincy.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Goalkeeper Camden Meyer recorded a season-high 10 saves.
• Meyer ranks seventh all-time in career saves. 
• Lui Bull led the Panthers with four shots.
• Bull leads the Panthers in shots with 17.
• Carson Morgan continued to be a threat on set pieces, with his two shots coming from a free kick and a corner. 
• Dane Prost came off the bench and recorded three shots with one on goal. 
• Meyer, Morgan, Samuel Tagg, and Sergio Aznar featured in all 90 minutes.
• Meyer and Morgan have played every minute of the season. 
• Drury had 17 shots with six on target, to Quincy's 23 shots with 12 on target. 
• Drury moves to 3-4-5 overall and 3-4-3 in the GLVC.
