Hawkins' Third-Minute Goal Downs Quincy, 1-0

QUINCY, Ill. – Holland Hawkins' third-minute goal propels Drury over the top team in the GLVC, Quincy, 1-0. The win improves the Panthers to 7-2-3 and 6-1-3 in league play.
 
Drury's offense played aggressively for the entire 90 minutes. The first shot of the match resulted in the lone goal of the evening, which came from a Holland Hawkins strike off a midfield pass from Grace Pohl.
 
After Hawkins put Drury ahead, Quincy found themselves chasing the Panthers. However, the Hawks' offense could not find the net behind a strong Drury defense, managing six shots but only putting two on goal.
