AFTON, Okla. – Drury men's golf completed the Missouri Southern Fall Invite at the Shangri La Golf Resort in Afton, Oklahoma. The Panthers finished the tournament in 7th place.
In the final tournament of the fall season,
Alex Wiseman led the way for the Panthers, shooting six over in the tournament, ending tied for 16th.
Owen Jump finished with a +9 and tied for 24th spot.
As a team, Drury improved each round. In the first round, the Panthers shot 309, followed by a 296 and a 295 in the third round.
Central Oklahoma led from start to finish, posting an 854, over 30 strokes better than second place, Washburn (884). The Bronchos also took the top two individual spots with Baylor Bostick (-4) and Bryany Polhill (-3).
HIGHLIGHTS
- The par 5 16th was Drury's strongest hole, yielding three eagles, six birdies, and seven pars over 18 plays.
- Owen Jump had the best finish of his college career, T24th.
- Alex Wiseman had his best finish of the season, T16th.
- Wiseman had 12 birdies across three rounds, fifth-most in the event.
- Gaige Lewis scored two eagles, tied for the most.
- Ellton Bostrom had 35 pars, the most in the tournament. He was followed by Owen Jump, who had 34.
- As a team, Drury had the fourth most eagles+ with three.
- Drury also recorded 147 pars, tied for the second most in the field.
