INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA Division II announced its field for the 2025 Cross Country National Championship. Drury's
Tyler Harris received an individual at-large bid to compete in this year's meet in Kenosha, Wis.
A junior from Springfield, Mo., Harris has been Drury's front-runner all season, breaking both school records in the 8,000 and 10,000-meter races.
Harris opened his season at the Chile Pepper Festival, where he placed 21
st (24:36.9) and earned the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) men's runner of the week. At the GLVC Championships, he broke the 8K record with a second-place finish (23:51.13). At the Midwest Regional last weekend, Harris broke the 10K record while placing eighth (30:39.2).
At last year's National Championships, Harris finished 89
th in a field of 261 runners (31:15.4). He became Drury's first men's cross country national qualifier since 2010 and will make his second straight appearance at the national meet.
