SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drury Lady Panthers finish their opening week trip to Michigan on Tuesday morning against Saginaw Valley State for a 10 am Central tipoff.
Drury and Saginaw Valley State are meeting for the first time since Nov. 23, 2021. The Cardinals are 0-2 after back-to-back losses to Northwood and Findlay and are searching for their first program win against the Lady Panthers. Drury is also searching for their first win of the season after losing to Ferris State on Sunday, 97-67.

- Drury holds a 4-0 record all-time against the Cardinals.
- The last meeting was in the 2021-22 season in Springfield apart of the annual Drury Thanksgiving Classic.

- Tuesday's game will be Drury's second of eight games in 21 days.
- The game will tip off at 10 am Central time for the Saginaw Valley State Kids Day Game. It will be the first time in program history that Drury will be playing an away kids' day game.
- It will mean Drury will play back-to-back games with tipoffs before noon.
- Saginaw Valley returns all-region forward, Megan McCalla. McCalla this season is averaging 17.5 points and 9 rebounds.
- The Cardinals' all-GLIAC defensive player, Lydia Meredith, did not play in Saginaw Valley's most recent game against Findlay.
- In Sunday's game against Ferris State, Drury struggled to get rebounds. SVSU is averaging 44 rebounds a game this season.
- The Lady Panthers showcased a new look starting lineup on Sunday with Kaylee King, Rhi Gibbons, Jazz Gray, Audra Pasakarnis, and Sara Mendel.
- Entering the season, Gibbons and Mendel started all 29 games last season, with Pasakarnis getting eight spot starts.
- Jazz Gray scored a career-high 14 points on Sunday in her first career start.
