Ashland (13-2-5) received the automatic bid into the tournament after winning the G-MAC Tournament. The Eagles are on a 17-game unbeaten streak and ranked 13th in the country.

At Drury's selection show watch party, head coach Justin Olson commented, "I am very excited and ready to get out there. We know Ashland will also be a tough game, so we will need a good week of training."
