SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury volleyball concludes its 2025 home schedule this weekend with two key Great Lakes Valley Conference matches against Maryville (Nov. 7) and Missouri S&T (Nov. 8) at O'Reilly Family Event Center. The Panthers will honor their six seniors prior to the start of Saturday's match, while looking to strengthen their position in the GLVC standings with just two weekends left in conference play remaining on the schedule.

The Panthers (14-11, 4-5 GLVC) will also be attempting to stop a two-game slide after dropping a five-set contest at Truman State (Nov. 1) last weekend and a 3-1 decision to Central Missouri (Nov. 4). Maryville (12-11, 5-4 GLVC) enters Friday's match one game ahead of Drury for sixth place in the league race after splitting its two conference contests against William Jewell and Rockhurst last weekend.

Conversely, Drury holds a one-game lead over Missouri S&T (8-15, 3-6 GLVC), which enters play Friday on a three-match win streak. The Miners have rebounded from an 0-6 start to GLVC play with a hot streak that has included straight-sets victories over Jewell and previously-unbeaten Rockhurst last weekend.

Fans may follow the action through the
GLVC Sports Network (subscription required), where matches will be streamed live throughout the regular season. New for the 2025-26 academic year, viewing access to live broadcasts from GLVC regular season and postseason contests will be available via monthly subscription ($30) or annual subscription ($140). Single-event access can also be purchased for $15.

SERIES HISTORIES

  • The Saints have claimed the last three meetings in the series, including a 3-1 victory over the Panthers two years ago in their last trip to Springfield.
  • Against the Miners, Drury has gone 12-16 all-time, with Missouri S&T winning last year's meeting in Rolla (3-2).
  • Each of the last three meetings between the Panthers and Miners have gone five sets, with Missouri S&T taking two of those matchups.
  • Under head coach Jenifer Bahner-Hill, DU is 10-4 vs. Maryville and 9-9 overall against Missouri S&T (dating back to 2014).

OPENING STORYLINES

  • Drury will honor its six seniors prior to Saturday's match with Missouri S&T, including Mailie Chretien, Kyla Clubb, Mary Henry, Payton Mitchell, Ella Rademaker and Phoebe Riddle.
  • The Panthers have dropped three straight home contests for the first time since Nov. 10, 2023-Sept. 12, 2024; after winning six of its first seven matches of the season at O'Reilly, Drury is 6-4 at home in 2025 and 86-42 overall at home under Bahner-Hill.
  • In her 12 seasons as head coach at Drury, Bahner-Hill (2014-present) has registered 171 career victories, which ranks second in DU history behind Barbara Cowherd's 487 wins as head coach of the Panthers (1980-99).
  • Rademaker led Drury with 18 kills in Tuesday's four-set loss to Central Missouri; the senior transfer logged 35 kills to pace the Panthers in their two contests last week, including a 24-kill, 11-dig effort vs. Truman in which she registered her second double-double as a Panther.
  • Rademaker, who leads DU with 327 kills on the season, has totaled 1,374 kills over 111 career matches, which puts her at No. 5 among all active NCAA Division II players and No. 1 on the GLVC's active list, leading Maryville's Ella Brinkmann (1,372) by two kills.
  • Against UCM Rademaker also recorded her eighth-straight double-digit kill total dating back to Oct. 17.
  • Lauren Tyler brings a career total of 2,392 assists into Friday's match after passing Julie Coble (2,389) for the No. 8 position on Drury's all-time assist chart in Tuesday's contest with UCM.
  • Chretien logged her team-leading ninth double-double of the season with her 14 kills and 16 digs Tuesday, and Jacy Bray (14 assists) extended her streak of consecutive double-digit assist performances to 18 in a row (since Sept. 12).
  • Drury posted its 14th victory of the season last Friday at Upper Iowa to match its 2024 season win total; the victory also gave the Panthers their top season total since going 20-11 in 2021.
  • Skylar Hilton's team-leading total of 90 blocks represents the most by a Drury freshman under Bahner-Hill (since 2014); her total is the best by a Panther rookie since Elizabeth Bunch's 116 in 2001.
  • Kim Quinit ranks ninth in the conference in digs (320).
  • Drury ranks fourth in the GLVC and 27th nationally in total kills (1,253), paced by Rademaker's team-leading 327 -- good for fourth among all GLVC hitters.
  • Hilton's 90 blocks are tied with Phoebe Riddle for the top season figure on the club and rank seventh in the GLVC.
  • The Panthers also rank fourth in the conference in assists (1,151) and total blocks (194.5).
  • Tyler's 39 service aces rank third in the GLVC, while her 573 assists rank eighth in the circuit.
