SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury men's soccer fell 3-0 against No. 3 McKendree in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament quarterfinals on Sunday.
 
The opening half was a defensive battle. McKendree fired the first shot in the fifth minute. Gage Vehr responded with a shot on target, which the Bearcat's goalkeeper saved in the ninth minute. Goalkeeper Camden Meyer was called to make a save in the 28^th minute to keep the game level. Mason Platts and Steen Voller had chances in the 30^th and 38^th minutes that could not find the target. Steen Voller closed the half with a strong shot, which was stopped by the goalkeeper again. The teams went into halftime even at 1-1. 
 
McKendree broke through early in the second half, scoring in the 48^th minute to take a 1-0 lead. Drury responded with shots from Sam Tagg and Mason Platts in the 57^th and 60^th minutes. Camden Meyer made two key saves in the 63^rd and 64^th minutes. A defensive mistake led to an own goal for the Panthers in the 69th minute, putting them 2-0 down. Drury kept fighting for a way back into the match, but a McKendree goal in the 84^th minute sealed the 3-0 loss to end the season.

• Lui Bull had two last-minute chances, but couldn't find a goal for the Panthers.

• Steen Voller led the Panthers with four shots against McKendree.
• Forwards Mason Platts and Lui Bull both recorded three shots.
• Camden Meyer made seven saves against the Bearcats. 
• Meyer finishes his Drury career with 173 saves, ranking fifth in school history.
• Meyer also ranks tied sixth in career shutouts (9), and ninth in career goals against average (1.61). 
• Bull and Joe Loughnane finish the season tied for top point scorer with 11 points each.
• Bull had a team-high of four goals and three assists this season.
• Loughnane recorded three goals and a team-high five assists.
• Carson Morgan, Rian Mulherin, and Platts all end the season with three goals and two assists. 
• Defender Cayden Meyer ends the season with three goals and one assist.
• Gage Vehr and freshman Dane Prost each finished the season with two goals.
• Freshman Sam Tagg ends with one goal, three assists. 
• George Lamb finished with one goal, one assist.
• Mattheo Ledoux and Tyrell Phinn each earned one goal this season.
• J.J. Adikwu, Reed Corrigan, and Voller all end with one assist.
• Drury graduated 10 players this season, including: Camden Meyer, Carson Morgan, Owen Price, George Lamb, Sergio Aznar, J.J. Adikwu, Cayden Meyer, Mattheo Ledoux, Joe Loughnane, and Marco Donjuan.
• Drury reached the GLVC Quarterfinals for the fifth straight season and finished 8-5-5 overall.
