SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury women's soccer head coach
Justin Olson has announced the program's 2026 signing class as of December 9. The class includes seven freshmen from across the country.
Cameryn Lynde joins Drury from Naperville, Illinois. The Naperville North product will be a primary defender for the Panthers. Lynde played in 22 games during her junior season, helping the Huskies finish as the state runners-up. During that campaign, she recorded one goal and one assist. Lynde plays club soccer for the Galaxy Soccer Club out of Naperville.
Nixa's Sam McClain will join Drury as a midfielder. McClain helped lead the Eagles to a Missouri Class 4 Semifinal appearance in her junior season, the program's first in 12 years. During the 2025 season, McClain was a Missouri Class 4 First Team All-State selection and earned Second Team All-State honors in 2024. She was also the Class 4 District 5 MVP in both 2024 and 2025. McClain plays club soccer for Sporting Springfield ECNL-RL.
Kaitlyn Truong comes to Drury from Issaquah, Washington. A product of Skyline High School, Truong won back-to-back 4A state titles in 2022 and 2023. In her senior season, the Spartans reached the state quarterfinals. The midfielder also competes at the club level for Eastside FC ECNL.
St. Louis' Sunny Potter arrives at Drury from Kirkwood High School, though she did not play for the Pioneers. Potter has been an all-region selection for ECNL St. Louis Scott Gallagher and was the top scorer for SLSG during the 2024 ECNL spring season.
Potter's ECNL teammate with St. Louis Scorr Gallagher, Gen Newell, will also head south to Springfield. The Lafayette High School product is a three-time All-Suburban Yellow Conference goalkeeper, including earning the league's Goalkeeper of the Year honor in 2023. In her junior season, Newell recorded ten shutouts as she helped lead the Lancers to their second district title in three years.
Drury also welcomes Alivia Daniel to the roster from O'Fallon, Missouri. Daniel plays high school soccer for Ft. Zumwalt West, where she led the Jaguars in assists during her junior season. She also plays club soccer for St. Louis Scott Gallagher in the ECNL alongside Potter and Newell.
Taylor Stangle comes to Springfield from Fayetteville, North Carolina. Stangle has scored 55 goals and recorded 144 points for Terry Sanford High School over her first three seasons. In her junior year, she tallied a career-high 20 goals. She is a three-time all-conference and all-region honoree. Stangle is a club product of Wake FC.
The seven newcomers will join a Drury team that won the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament in the 2025 season and reached the NCAA Division II National Tournament for the second straight year.
