Panthers hit Quincy for second game of road trip
Drury travels to Quincy on Saturday for the second half of their two-game road trip. Game time is 3 pm in Quincy, Ill.
 
The Panthers are 10-11 and 5-9 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Drury will look to bounce back from a 79-63 loss on Thursday at Truman State.
 
The Hawks are 8-13, 3-10 in the GLVC, and have lost five straight. Quincy fell to fifth-ranked and conference-unbeaten Missouri S&T at home on Thursday, 91-82.
 
Saturday's game is a rematch of Drury's biggest loss of the season, a 92-59 loss at home on Dec. 5. The Panthers lead the all-time series against Quincy 30-24, but the Hawks have won the last six meetings. Drury's last win over Quincy was on Jan. 31, 2019, when the Panthers won 86-59 at home.
 
Drury returns home after Saturday's game and will take on Rockhurst on Thursday, Feb. 13, for a 7:45 pm game in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
Steals Leaders
Drury guard Logan Applegate leads the GLVC in steals, averaging 2.2 per game. The Panthers lead the conference as a team in steals, swiping 9.8 per game.
 
About the Hawks
Quincy enters Saturday's game ranked fifth in the GLVC in offense, averaging 76.4 points per game. While the Hawks rank 13th in defense, allowing 76.5 points each game, they are third in the league steals, averaging 8.0 per game.
 
Max Booher leads Quincy in scoring, averaging 12.9 points. Booher ranks fourth in the conference in three-point percentage, hitting a .405 mark, and his 2.5 made threes per game ranks eighth in the league.
 
Ethyn Brown leads Quincy in assists and ranks ninth in the conference, averaging 3.4.
 
Quincy will be looking for their first win since Jan. 20, when they beat Missouri-St. Louis 79-76 at home. The Hawks three conference wins have come against the Tritons, Panthers, and Illinois Springfield.
