Panthers host Lincoln for first ever GLVC matchup
Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) newcomer, Lincoln, will travel to Drury for their first ever GLVC games as the Blue Tigers and Panthers square off on March 8 at Thompson Field at Meador Park.
 
Drury is coming off a 2-2 weekend against in the Drury Softball Classic. During the classic, Sophia Luetticke extended her hit streak to 11 games. The Panthers also played two games that went into extra innings, only able to win one of them. Drury and Lincoln have played 25 times before, non as conference opponents. The Panthers hold a 23-2 record all-time with their last meeting being in 2023. Drury won that game 9-2 in Branson. Luetticke is leading Drury with a .415 batting average, she is also getting it done on the base paths with 11 steals, not getting caught once. Early in the season, AJ Agers is one of the top pitchers in the league being top ten in ERA, opposing batting average, hits allowed, earned runs allowed, and walks.
 
Lincoln has a 6-8 record so far this season, they will play Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday in a doubleheader before heading to Springfield. Out of the six wins that the Blue Tigers have this season only two are against NCAA-II teams. Lincoln's Mackenzie Graham leads the team in batting average with a .385. She also has 10 RBIs on the season. From the pitching circle, Abby Pulliam has a 3.46 ERA and a 4-2 record. She has started six games and came out of the bullpen once.
 
The Panthers will play in Rolla on Sunday against Missouri S&T to close the opening GLVC weekend.
