SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury third baseman
Jackson Crider was named a First Team All-Midwest Region selection by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
Crider led the Great Lakes Valley Conference in hitting, posting a .434 average, and he hit 11 home runs with 43 runs batted in during 54 games. The redshirt freshman from San Antonio, Texas, also led the GLVC in hits with 82 and on-base percentage with .548. Crider ranked second in the conference in OPS, posting a 1.220 mark, and he set a program single-season record in hit-by-pitch with 29.
Earlier this spring, Crider was named a First Team All-GLVC selection and was named to the GLVC All-Tournament team.
The Panthers finished the season 33-23 and went 21-11 in the conference.
