SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Drury bass fishing team, currently ranked No. 8 nationally, will compete in the Bassmaster College National Championship, set for July 10-12 on Cherokee Lake in Jefferson City, Tenn.

The prestigious event features more than 150 qualifying teams from across the country. Only the top 10 percent of teams from regular season events earned a spot in the national championship.

Drury will be represented by two boats in the competition. The team of Zach Ward, a senior, and Easton Bouma, a junior, earned their qualification through consistent performances throughout the season. Joining them will be the junior duo of Dayne Kobriger and Camden Kozikoski, who also secured a berth with strong finishes in qualifying tournaments.

Daily weigh-ins will be broadcast live beginning at 1 p.m. CST on Bassmaster.
