MADISON, Ill. – Drury men's golf opened the 2025 fall season with a second-place finish in the Arch Cup hosted by Missouri-St. Louis at the Gateway National Golf Links in Madison, Illinois.
Drury entered two teams, with the first finishing second out of ten after shooting six-over, and the second team placing seventh at 37-over par.
Ellton Bostrom led the Drury with a second-place finish individually with a four-under.
Zach Carter finished his first career collegiate tournament tied for ninth. The freshman from Bentonville shot two over.
Gaige Lewis started his junior season with an 11th-place finish, three over.
Daniel Solavera of UMSL won the entire tournament shooting six under. Solavera led UMSL to the team win. The Tritons shot a six under as a team.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Ellton Bostrom earned Arch Cup All-Tournament honors.
- Bostrom was tied with two others in the entire tournament in birdies with nine.
- Zach Carter's two-over par came after a second round that saw him shoot two-under.
- Meyer Lively finished tied for 19th after shooting three-over in both rounds.
- Pedro Betoret had a strong first round, shooting one under.
- Freshman Cason Bekemeier paced the field with 29 pars in the 36-hole tournament.
