SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Top-ranked Drury men's swimming and diving kicks off its 2026-27 season Friday (Oct. 9) evening with a road dual against Missouri S&T at Gale Bullman Multi-Purpose Building in Rolla, Mo.
Tabbed No. 1 in the CSCAA's Preseason NCAA Division II Dual Meet Poll, the Drury men are coming off of a national runner-up performance after narrowly missing their 23rd team title last spring. Powered by an individual national championship effort by Alvaro Zornoza in the 200 Back, DU finished just 13.5 points behind national champion Tampa at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships in Evansville, Ind.
The Drury swimming programs will once again be led by Brian Reynolds, one of the nation's most accomplished collegiate swimming coaches. Reynolds enters his 44th year as head coach of the Panthers men's team and his 39th season leading the DU women's program.
PRESEASON NOTES
- Drury earned the No. 1 spot in the CSCAA's Preseason Top 25 Dual Meet Poll that was released last week.
- The Panthers' 2026-27 roster includes nine returning All-Americans, including individual national champions Ivan Adamchuk (100 Back, 200 IM, 200 Back) and Alvaro Zornoza (200 Back).
