SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury cross country is set to host the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Championships Saturday morning at Allison Sports Town.

The men's squad, currently receiving votes in the latest national poll, opens the day with the 8,000-meter race at 9:30 a.m. Tyler Harris leads the Panthers with the team's fastest 8K time this season, finishing 13th at the Old Glory Gallop in 23:51.3. Harris earned GLVC Men's Runner of the Week honors following his performance, helping Drury place fourth among 43 teams. Last season, the Panthers finished fifth at the conference championships, producing two All-GLVC honorees, including Harris, who finished runner-up individually.

The women's team follows with the 6,000-meter race at 10:30 a.m. Cera Eckenroth has led the Panthers throughout the season, earning GLVC Women's Runner of the Week honors twice. Eckenroth opened the year with an individual victory at the Queen City After Dark, finishing 30 seconds ahead of the field. The junior followed with a third-place finish at the Old Glory Gallop, breaking her own program record in the 5K with a time of 16:52.7. Last season, the women placed sixth at the GLVC Championships, earning two all-conference selections, including Eckenroth, who finished fourth individually.

Drury enters the championships following a strong showing at the Old Glory Gallop on Oct. 17, where the men's team finished fourth, and the women placed 11th in fields of 43 teams.

The Panthers previously hosted the GLVC Championships in 2012, finishing fifth among 12 teams in the men's race and sixth among 13 teams in the women's race. Erin Dolan highlighted Drury's performance with a third-place individual finish.

In program history, Drury has produced three individual GLVC champions on both the men's and women's sides. The Panthers are seeking their first conference team championship.
