SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury volleyball delivered a standout all-around performance in handing No. 19 Indianapolis a decisive straight-set loss (25-14, 25-22, 25-18) to open the final weekend of Great Lakes Valley Conference play Friday evening at O'Reilly Family Event Center.
Drury (20-7, 9-3 GLVC) rode a red-hot first-set attack to a dominant 25-15 win, then overcame its only deficit of the night in the second stanza to take a 25-22 decision and a two-sets-to-none lead. The Panthers led the third for all but one point, ultimately using a 5-1 scoring run midway through the set to take control for good in an eventual 25-18 victory.
Abby Renshaw led the DU attack with a 13-kill, 16-dig performance, while Skylar Hilton added seven kills on .300 hitting to go along with eight blocks, and Chaney Barth turned in 10 kills. Four different Panthers logged double-digit kill performances to spark a defense that limited the Greyhounds (23-4, 10-2 GLVC) to just .135 hitting on the night. Jacy Bray registered her seventh consecutive double-double with 32 assists and 12 digs, as well as six kills and three blocks.
With the victory, Drury reached the 20-win plateau for the first time since 2021 while stopping the Greyhounds' eight-match GLVC win streak.
