ABOUT DRURY
- Under fifth-year head coach Chris Foster, Drury is coming off back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2019-21 after going 14-13 a year ago and 15-13 in 2023-24.
- DU posted its first 4-0 start in six years, with wins over Ohio Dominican, Thomas More, Ecclesia and Ozark Christian.
- As a team, the Panthers are scoring at an 82.4 ppg clip, while allowing an average of 78.6 points per outing.
- Drury is paced by an offense that features three double-figure scorers, led by junior guard Zach Howell (18.1 ppg) and sophomore guard Colin Hardrick (15.3).
- Howell is DU's leading returning scorer, while Hardrick earned GLVC All-Freshman and All-Defensive team honors last winter after averaging 10.2 points, 6.7 boards and 2.0 steals per outing.

LAST TIME OUT
- A quick start by Upper Iowa and a balanced offense that featured five double-figure scorers powered the Peacocks to a 96-76 victory over the Panthers last Saturday in Fayette.
- The Peacocks knocked down their first seven field-goal attempts to build a double-digit lead and shot .556 (20-of-36) in the opening half to take control of the contest.
- UIU's quick start resulted in an early 16-5 advantage, thanks in large part to a strong effort on the interior by the Peacocks, who scored 22 of their first 33 points of the afternoon in the paint.
- Jack Miller led all scorers with 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting, pacing a UIU offense that was in control throughout the afternoon; The Peacocks led for all but 50 seconds of the contest and shot 48-percent (36-of-75) from the floor in stopping a three-game skid.
- Zach Howell led DU with 20 points, while Colin Hardrick added 13 points, five rebounds and five assists for the Panthers.
HOWELL BY THE NUMBERS
- Junior guard/forward Zach Howell has found his shooting touch in the new year, posting a team-best 20.3 ppg. average in DU's 10 January contests.
- Howell scored a game-high 33 points on 8-of-11 shooting from beyond the three-point arc, as well as a season-high 11 rebounds as part of his second career double-double in the Panthers' win at Lewis (Jan. 29).
- With that effort, the Springfield, Mo., product became the first Panther to record back-to-back 30+ point performances since the 2013 NCAA Division II Tournament, when Alex Hall scored 33 vs. USC-Aiken in the NCAA Elite Eight (March 28) and 35 against Western Washington in the Final Four (March 30).
- In Drury's 10 January games, Zach Howell averaged 20.3 points while shooting .508 (60-of-118) from the floor and .465 (33-of-71) from three-point range.
- Additionally, he knocked down 50-of-56 (.893) free-throw attempts in those same 10 games.
- Howell's .465 three-point percentage ranks as the best single-season mark by a Panther since Jason Montgomery's .477 in 2020-21.
- Howell's 72 three-pointers puts him on pace for 96 makes from beyond the arc during the regular season, which would rank fifth on DU's single-season list; it would also mark the most by a Panther since Conley Garrison's 105 makes in 2018-19.
- Howell leads all GLVC players in three-point field goal percentage (.465) and ranks second in three-point field goals made (72).
- Howell ranks third in the GLVC in total scoring (381) and fourth in free-throw percentage (.869).

- Drury freshman Keion Epps has been the Panthers' top ball distributor all season, but the Springfield product has been particularly helpful since the start of 2026, averaging 5.2 assists (52 total assists) DU's 10 January contests.
- In the Panthers' 82-68 win at Maryville (Jan. 15), he handed out a career-best 10 assists, marking the first double-digit assist total by a Panther since Conley Garrison recorded 10 assists vs. Pittsburg State on Dec. 22, 2019.
- He followed that effort with nine more helpers at McKendree (Jan. 17), then handed out eight more in DU's win over Indianapolis (Jan. 23).
- Epps currently leads the GLVC in assists per game (5.4) and is on pace to rack up 129 helpers during the regular season; that figure would be the top season total by a DU player since Garrison handed out 149 assists in 2019-20.
