SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury travels to St. Louis for their first full GLVC weekend on the road. The road trip starts on Saturday with a doubleheader at Maryville before traveling to No. 16 McKendree on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Panthers are coming off a split with Emporia State on Tuesday in Springfield. Drury took game one behind a strong third inning. The second game was all Hornets from the jump as Emporia won 10-3.
 
Maryville is riding a three-game winning streak entering the weekend, including a sweep of William Jewell last weekend. McKendree has not lost a game since March 7, a ten-game winning streak for the Bearcats.
 
Fans may follow the action through the GLVC Sports Network (subscription required), where games will be streamed live throughout the regular season. New for the 2025-26 academic year, viewing access to GLVC regular season and postseason broadcasts will be available via monthly subscription ($30) or annual subscription ($140). Single-event access can also be purchased for $15.
 
SERIES HISTORY VS MARYVILLE

WEEKEND STORYLINES
  • Drury has played five doubleheaders this season, and they have split all of them.
  • The Panthers are 10-13 this season, with a 3-3 record in their last six games.
  • Maryville is 13-11, 4-2 in their last six games.
  • McKendree is 23-5 this season and has won ten straight games. The Bearcats host Southwest Baptist on Saturday.
  • McKendree ranks 16th in the nation. The doubleheader will be Drury's fourth and fifth games against a top-25 team this season. The Panthers are 2-1 against ranked teams this season.
  • Landry Cochran was named an NFCA Performer of the Week for the second time this season. Cochran hit .353 in six games last week with three stolen bases. In the midweek game against Emporia, Cochran had three hits with two runs scored to add to her strong start to the season.
  • Maryville's Addison Koth was the NFCA National Player of the Week, named on Tuesday. Koth was 10-for-14 with six homers.
  • McKendree's Sami Huck was the national pitcher of the week, named on Tuesday. Huck went 5-0 in the circle with a 0.97 ERA. Earlier this season, Huck had a 20-strikeout no-hitter.
  • Lauren Harris, McKendree, was an NFCA Performer of the Week with Cochran. Harris hit .500 with 13 hits and five home runs.
  • Kaley Adzick has been the top pitcher for Drury so far. She has posted a 2.21 ERA in 11 games this season.
  • Jordyn Foley enters the weekend ten strikeouts away from 100 in her Drury career.
  • Reece Anderson and Gabrielle Bax are both at 50 in NCAA Division II in assists and assists per game. Anderson is sixth in assists with 79 and second in assists per game with 3.43. Bax is 43rd in assists with 59 and 33rd in assists per game with 2.57.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
Drury starts an eight-game home stand on Tuesday (March 24) against Ouachita Baptist.
