ST. LOUIS – No. 15 Drury STUNT finished the regular season with a pair of wins against Central Methodist and No. 23 Quincy at Missouri Baptist.
GAME ONE – No. 15 Drury 20, Central Methodist 1
Drury recorded a 20-1 win over Central Methodist to open the final weekend of the regular season.
Q1 Partner Stunts gave Drury an early lead. Central Methodist recorded forfeits in Rounds 2 and 4, while Drury completed routines to earn points in the first three rounds. Central Methodist did not score in the quarter, allowing Drury to build separation early in the meet.
In Q2 Pyramids and Tosses, Drury continued to add to the lead. The Panthers earned points in Rounds 1, 2, and 3, while Central Methodist recorded additional forfeits in Rounds 2 and 4. Drury's execution across the routines extended the margin heading into halftime.
Q3 Jumps and Tumbling followed a similar pattern. Central Methodist recorded another forfeit in Round 1, and Drury scored in each round of the quarter. Central Methodist managed a point in Round 4, but Drury still increased its lead entering the final quarter.
Q4 Team Routine finished the meet. Central Methodist had multiple forfeits during the team routines, while Drury collected points in several rounds to close out scoring. By the end of the quarter, Drury secured the 20-1 result.
