INDIANAPOLIS — After leading Drury baseball in a four-game road series sweep of Lincoln this past weekend, senior outfielder Connor Bain has been selected as the Athletic Solutions Great Lakes Valley Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the second time this season, the league office announced Monday.

Bain led Drury (17-12, 8-4 GLVC) at the plate in its four outings against Lincoln, hitting .600 (9-for-15) with three home runs and 12 runs batted-in to power a Panther offense that averaged 16 runs per contest in the series. The Troy, Ill., product slugged 1.533 and posted an OPS of 2.165, with eight of his nine hits against the Blue Tigers going for extra bases.

Bain was a model of consistency, driving in three runs in each of the four games and posting three multi-hit efforts in Jefferson City, including three-hit performances in Friday's opener and Sunday's finale.

The honor is the second GLVC Player of the Week award for Bain, and the fifth weekly citation for a Panther this season. Bain, a 2025 All-GLVC Honorable Mention choice, was chosen for the same weekly conference honor on Feb. 9.

LOOKING AHEAD
Drury returns to Springfield to open a four-game GLVC home series against Maryville, beginning with a 5 p.m. Thursday (April 2) contest at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park.
