INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA released its third installment of regional golf rankings for Division II on Friday, April 10. Drury ranks 11
th in the Midwest region.
The Panthers were one of four GLVC teams ranked in the rankings. Missouri S&T leads the way at third, followed by Rockhurst in fourth and Missouri-St. Louis is in fifth.
The top 10 teams in the Midwest and Central Regions in the final rankings will participate in the NCAA Midwest/Central Regional (May 7-9) at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Mich, which will be announced on April 26. At a minimum, the top three finishing teams at the Midwest/Central Regional will then advance to the NCAA Championships (May 18-22) at Boulder Creek Golf Course in Boulder City, Nev. The remaining eight team berths will be allocated based on regions represented in the prior year's head-to-head medal play portion of the championships.
Drury is back in action beginning on Wednesday (April 22) for the first two rounds of the GLVC men's golf championship tournament at Rock Hollow Golf Club in Peru, Ind.
