SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury looks to extend their four-game winning streak this weekend with doubleheaders against Quincy and Truman State at Thompson Field. The Panthers will honor six of their nine seniors this weekend after both doubleheaders.
The Panthers have tied their longest win streak of the season at four games. Adding four more wins to the streak would mark the third-longest winning streak under
Brooke Gajewski. Quincy has dropped 11 of their last 12 games; its lone win was their most recent game against Southwest Baptist. Truman State has lost five of its last six games; before that skid, they won four straight games.

STORYLINES
- Drury will honor six of their nine seniors post game this weekend. The final three seniors will be honored following the doubleheader against Southwest Baptist on May 2.
- Drury has won four straight games, their longest of the season. The longest streak under Gajewski is 12 games during the 2024 season. Last season, Drury won nine straight for the second-longest streak under Gajewski.
- Kaley Adzick is closing in on career milestones, combining her time at Drury and Webster. Adzick is 27 RBIs away from 100 career, 1.2 innings pitched away from 300 career, and 1 win shy of 30 career.
- Entering the weekend, Adzick is 21 strikeouts away from seventh all-time in Drury history. She currently has 152 in her three seasons in Springfield. She is tied for seventh all-time in program wins with 20.
- Reece Anderson is also closing in on career milestones and program records. Anderson is 10 assists away from 300 career assists and 1 start away from her 100th career start. This season, Anderson has 130 assists, 30 shy of tying the single-season assist record she set last season.
- Gabrielle Bax is 12 assists from 200 career assists.
- Jordyn Foley is set to start two games this weekend. If she is able to record wins in both of those starts, she will move into 11th all-time in single-season wins 11 wins.
- Landry Cochran is 19 hits away from 100 career hits.
- Avery Budde and Emma Niemczyk are both on hitting streaks. Budde has recorded a hit in her last 11 games. Niemczyk has done so in five straight games.
- Quincy is 7-33 this season with a 3-13 GLVC record. The Hawks won their last game against Southwest Baptist, 9-4. Before that win, Quincy dropped 11 straight games.
- Quincy has one hitter that has over a .300 average, Makala Koozer. Koozer is hitting .339 in her freshman season. She only has 12 RBIs. Quincy has two batters that have 30 RBIs entering the weekend, Kaidence Dumas and Kenzie Moss.
- The Hawks' pitching staff has struggled this season. Hailey Platt has the lowest ERA on the staff with a 4.73, but has only appeared in 12 games. Haley Martin is the only pitcher who has over ten starts this season. Martin has started 18 games with a 5.16 ERA. Hitters are hitting .337 against Martin this season.
- Truman State has struggled as of late, dropping five of its last six games. Before that skid, the Bulldogs won four straight against Upper Iowa and Quincy. Entering the weekend, Truman is 14-26 with a 6-10 conference record.
- One of the GLVC's top hitters, Cassie Smith, is hitting .465 on 59 hits with 20 RBIs. When Smith gets on base, she will run. Smith is 21-for-23 on the base paths this season. She has 74 steals in her four-year career.
- Jayda Long has been a top arm for the Bulldogs. Long holds a 2.90 ERA in 91.2 innings pitched. Over half of her appearances this season are out of the bullpen. In Long's last seven appearances, three of them were starts. Only one of those three starts was a complete game, that coming against Upper Iowa.

Following this weekend, the Panthers hit the Kansas City loop of the GLVC season, playing at William Jewell (April 25) and Rockhurst (April 26).
