4/26/2026 5:49:00 PM

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA released its 2026 field for the division two men's golf regionals on Sunday, April 26. Drury's Ellton Bostrom and Gaige Lewis both earned individual spots in the Midwest region.

The regional will take place at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan. The three-round tournament will start Thursday, May 7, with one round played a day until Sunday, May 10. The Midwest region will be held in conjunction with the Central regional in Big Rapids.

Bostrom and Lewis are two of the four individuals who earned the bid. Aidan Hibbard (Cedarville) and Carter Mishler (Ashland) were the other two individuals. Lewis will enter the tournament as the top individual and Bostrom the fourth-ranked. Ten teams made the field, three from the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC): Missouri S&T, Missouri-St. Louis, and Rockhurst.

Ellton Bostrom is coming off a GLVC All-Tournament honor, where he finished tied for fourth, shooting even-par in the 54-hole stroke play. Bostrom's top finish of the season came in the Arch Cup when he finished second. His lowest round was a 67 in the third round of the UIndy Fall Invite. This season, Bostrom recorded his fourth tournament under par in his Drury career, tied for the fourth-most in program history.

Gaige Lewis was the GLVC's Individual champion after he shot six under par in stroke play. He also won his match in the Panthers' semifinal match against Missouri-St. Louis. This season, Lewis has set a program record for the lowest round, a 64 in the Findlay Spring Invitational, and the second-lowest 54-hole total, a 208 in the Music City Invitational. Lewis will enter the regional with the third-most tournaments under par in program history, with five.

This will be the first time since 2019 that Drury has been represented in the regional. Clayton Larsen earned that bid before shooting a 225 and ending tied for 43rd. This is the second time in program history that Drury has had two individuals in the field, Kevin Hogg and Bryce Wasersleben, who played in the 2002 South Central regional together.

At a minimum, the top three teams and the top two student-athletes not with a team from each regional will advance to the finals, May 18-22, at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada.
