SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury softball returns to Springfield to open the final week of the regular season with a non-conference doubleheader against Rogers State.

In Drury's last regular-season road trip to Kansas City, Drury dropped all three of their games. Rogers State is in the top half of one of the hardest conferences in NCAA Division II, the MIAA. The Hillcats will play two separate non-conference doubleheaders this week as they enter the final series of the conference season.

Fans may follow the action through the GLVC Sports Network (subscription required), where games will be streamed live throughout the regular season. New for the 2025-26 academic year, viewing access to GLVC regular-season and postseason broadcasts will be available via a monthly ($30) or annual ($140) subscription. Single-event access can also be purchased for $15. Select games, including the Rogers State doubleheader, will have free audio coverage on DU All-Access.

  • Rogers State is 5-3 against Drury all-time.
  • The most recent meetings came in the 2023 season, a neutral-site meeting in Bentonville that Rogers State won 3-0.
  • The Hillcats are winners of three straight against Drury.
  • The last Panthers win was in the 2017 season, a game one of a doubleheader, a 5-4 win in Springfield.

STORYLINES
  • Drury enters the final week of the regular season in eighth place in the GLVC.
  • Over Drury's last road trip, Reece Anderson eclipsed 300 career assists. She is only the fourth Panther in program history to reach that milestone.
  • Anderson is 13 assists away from tying the single-season assist record of 160, which she set in her freshman season.
  • In Anderson's freshman season, she finished second in NCAA Division II in assists. She currently leads the division in assists, four ahead of Khloe Kubutschek from Colorado Mesa.
  • Gabrielle Bax passed 200 career assists against Rockhurst. She is five assists shy of becoming top ten in a single season at Drury.
  • This season, Isabel Ervin has recorded one fewer assist than Gabrielle Bax, placing Ervin six assists away from the top ten in single-season assists.
  • Jordyn Foley is one win away from being top ten in single-season wins at Drury with her 12th win of the season.
  • Landry Cochran is a triple shy of the fourth most in Drury career records; she has six in her career.
  • Emma Niemczyk has had a standout freshman season. She has 42 hits, tied for the fifth most by a freshman in program history. With four regular-season games left, Niemczyk is three hits away from fourth place and six hits from third.
  • Kaley Adzick enters the week with the third-best ERA in the GLVC with a 2.01. Jordyn Foley is tenth with a 2.72.
  • Adzick is holding opponents to a .228 batting average, the seventh best in the GLVC.
  • Adzick is nine strikeouts away from 100 this season. She would be the first pitcher since Kristina Bettis in 2023 to strike out 100 in a season and only the 11th pitcher in program history to reach 100 in a season.
  • Rogers State enters the week with a 30-16 record and 13-9 in the MIAA. The Hillcats host Harding in a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday before traveling to Springfield on Wednesday. The final MIAA series of the regular season for Rogers State is Northeastern State on May 2. The Hillcats and River Hawks are both playing for improved seeding in the MIAA Tournament. Rogers State (13-9) currently sits in the sixth seed, one spot above Northeastern State (11-11).
