Panthers Finish Regular Season in Eighth at Ken Partridge Invitational

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – Drury men's golf finished their 2025-26 regular season on Monday (April 6) with 27 holes at the Ken Partridge Invitational.
 
The Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville, Indiana, hosted the three-round event. Competitors played 27 holes each on April 5 and April 6. The course, a par-72 stretching 7,062 yards, featured 18 Midwest teams, including eight from the GLVC.
 
Grand Valley State's Manuel Cue (-4) and Ryan Gallagher (-2) finished first and second. Alexander Nestun (Indianapolis) and Kingston Solomon (Rockhurst) tied for third at even par. Jaxon Bailey led Drury at eight-over, while Ellton Bostrom followed at nine-over, tying for 32nd.
 
The event was won by the third-ranked team in NCAA Division II, Grand Valley State. The Lakers shot one under over three rounds. Ferris State and Rockhurst each shot 18-over to finish tied for second. Drury (+31) placed eighth, the fourth-best GLVC team.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
  • Drury had the second-best stroke average on par threes, averaging 3.19 strokes, only behind Ferris State (3.17).
  • The Panthers averaged under par on par fives, shooting 4.71 on average.
  • Drury led the field with three eagles.
  • Gaige Lewis, Meyer Lively, and Ellton Bostrom were each responsible for one eagle.
  • Jaxon Bailey had the best tournament of his college career, finishing tied for 26th.
  • Gaige Lewis had his third straight tournament, where he had at least one round in which he shot under par. He was two under in the final round of the Ken Partridge Invitational.
