SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury men's soccer coach
Ben Taylor has announced the Panthers' 2026 schedule as the program prepares for its 36th season.
The 2026 season kicks off with three non-conference matchups and marks the Panthers' first full season playing its home contests at Lake Country Soccer Complex in Springfield. Drury begins at home against Davenport (Aug. 27) in the first meeting in program history before hosting Oklahoma Christian (Aug. 29). The Panthers conclude non-conference play on the road against Northeastern State (Sept. 2).
Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) play begins Sept. 5, as the Panthers travel to Kirksville to face Truman State.
September features six additional matchups, including home action against McKendree (Sept. 16) and a road matchup at Indianapolis (Sept. 19). The Bearcats and Greyhounds both appeared in the 2025 NCAA Tournament after top-four finishes in the GLVC standings.
Conference play continues in October, with five matches scheduled on the Panthers' home turf. Drury hosts a Rockhurst (Oct. 7) team coming off an Elite Eight appearance during the 2025 campaign. The Panthers upset No. 18 Rockhurst in last year's meeting, 1-0.
Drury closes the regular season with a three-match home stand that includes contests against Maryville (Oct. 17), Southwest Baptist (Oct. 21), and Lincoln (Oct. 24).
Following the regular season, the GLVC Tournament kicks off Nov. 1, with quarterfinal matches hosted by the top four seeds. The NCAA Tournament opens Nov. 12, with this year's national championship match scheduled for Dec. 5 at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City.
Drury finished 8-5-5 last season, placing sixth in the GLVC standings and reaching the quarterfinals of the GLVC Tournament. The Panthers return All-GLVC honoree
Lui Bull, who led the team with four goals and added three assists.
Mason Platts also returns after recording eight points last season, alongside Sam Tagg, who tallied three assists in 13 starts as a freshman.
Ben Taylor enters his 10th season as DU's head coach with a 45-58-26 record and six GLVC Tournament appearances to his credit.
