SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury wrestling announced its schedule for the 2026-27 season Wednesday, highlighted by six home duals along with the Drury Open.
The 2026-27 season marks Drury wrestling's 11th season and the start of the Bryce Walker era, with the Panthers set to face a challenging slate featuring several of the nation's top programs from a season ago.
Drury gets its first look at the 2026-27 squad with the annual Scarlet and Gray Intrasquad on Oct. 23. The Panthers officially open the season at the second edition of the Missouri Duals on Nov. 2 before heading to Oklahoma City for the first-ever meeting between the two programs on Nov. 7. The Stars finished third at the NAIA National Championships last season.
Drury returns home on Nov. 14 for a doubleheader against Kentucky Wesleyan and new Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) affiliate member Grand Valley State. The Lakers are coming off a 12th-place finish at the NCAA Division II Championships and sent eight wrestlers to the national tournament.
The Panthers host the Drury Open on Nov. 15 before closing their November home slate against Ouachita Baptist on Nov. 18.
GLVC competition takes center stage in December, with the Panthers traveling to Indianapolis on Dec. 4 and McKendree on Dec. 12. McKendree finished third at last season's NCAA Division II Championships. Drury closes the calendar year at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis on Dec. 19.
After a pair of opens to begin the new year, Drury returns to GLVC action against Maryville at home on Jan. 13. The Panthers travel to Upper Iowa four days later before returning home to face Quincy on Jan. 23.
The regular season concludes Jan. 29 at home against Central Oklahoma, which finished fourth at last season's NCAA Division II Championships.
The GLVC Championship Tournament, hosted by Upper Iowa, is set for Feb. 14. This year's NCAA Super Region IV Championships will take place in Indianapolis on Feb. 27, with qualifying individuals advancing to the NCAA Division II Championships March 12-13.
