CAREER
Had a spectacular career as a Panther and left as the all-time leader for assists with 25, points 95 and was second all-time with 35 goals, just two behind John Pedroli's 37...Broke season records for goals with 15 and points with 45 in 2009 and the record for most points for a game with six vs. Newman on August 30, 2009 and vs. Kentucky Wesleyan on October 10, 2010,both games in which he had three goals...Set a single season record for most assists with 15 in 2009 and his seven assists in 2008 were fifth most for a season...Earned First Team All NSCAA All-Midwest Region honors and First Team Daktronics All-Midwest Region honors in 2009...Also was a second team Daktronics All-Region selection in 2010 and was a Third Team All-American in 2009...Earned First Team All-GLVC honors in 2010 and Second Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference honors in 2009.

SENIOR
The First Team All-GLVC selection led the Panthers with 10 goals and was third on the team with three assists for 23 points...Took 51 shots and had four game winners on the season...Tied his own record with six points in a game when he had three goals vs. Kentucky Wesleyan on October 10...Had two goals at Missouri-St. Louis on Ocotber 3...Tied for fourth most game winning goals in the GLVC with four, tied for sixth for points in GLVC and was 71 nationally...Also sixth for points per game at 1.28 and was 79th in the nation...Tied for seventh in the GLVC with 51 shots and was seventh for goals per game at .56 which was 63rd best in the nation...Ranked 54th nationally in total goals and was eighth in the GLVC for shots per game at 2.83...Had three assists on the season those coming vs. Wisconsn-Parkside on October 22, vs.  Bellarmine on October 8 and vs. Maryville on September 24.

JUNIOR
Micah had an outstanding 2009 season in helping Drury to a school best 21-2 record, a GLVC title and a NCAA-II tournament appearance...He was second in the nation with .7 assists per game and ranked thirteenth in the country for points per game (2.0)...His .65 goals per game ranked 44th in the nation and he had six game winners for Drury...Broke the record for most points for a game with six vs. Newman on August 30, a game in which he had three goals...Micah led the Panthers with 15 assists, most ever by a Panther in a season and had two assists in four games (Illinois-Springfield, at Maryville, Southern Indiana and vs. Bellarmine in the GLVC semifinal game.)...Micah also set a Drury season record with 45 points...He was second on the team with 15 goals and had all three Panther goals in their win over Newman to set a Drury record with six points in one game...Also recorded two goals in the Panthers 7-0 win over Harding...Had a season high seven shots vs. Newman with five shots each against Harding and Indianapolis...Whorton was a First Team NSCAA All-Midwest Region selection, First Team Daktronics All-Midwest Region pick, Second Team GLVC selection and a Third Team Daktronics All-American...His 22 career assists currently ranks first all-time, three ahead of current teammate Ben Taylor (19).

SOPHOMORE
Played in every game and made seven starts...Was third on the team with eight goals and had game winners against GLVC foes Northern Kentucky and Missouri S&T...Finished second on the team with seven assists and his 27 shots were fifth most...Took a season high six shots at Harding.

FRESHMAN
Started two games and played in 18 with goals against Quincy and Kentucky Wesleyan...Had 12 shots for the 2007 season.

PREP...
Whorton is a three-time all-conference and all-district selection who twice has been an all-state pick, Elite Eleven selection and the conference player of the year…Whorton played for the K.C. Attack club team.
