CAREER
Ethan made 41 appearances in his two year Drury career and recorded four saves with 55 strikeouts in 54.1 innings . . . Mather had a career ERA of 2.83 and a 4-3 record.

SENIOR
Ethan had a season high three strikeouts at Missouri S&T (April 16) and matched his career high with four innings of action . . . Mather had a 2.08 ERA and pitched 30.1 innings with a two saves and a 3-2 record. . . Had 20 strikeouts on the season and walked six batters.

JUNIOR
Key reliever for the Panthers, Ethan had a 3.75 ERA with 35 strikeouts in 24 innings of action and 20 appearances . . . Best outing was at Missouri S&T (4/2/13) when he threw four innings and allowed just one hit with four strikeouts . . . Posted three K's three times, those in games at Southern Indiana (3/9/13), at Southwest Baptist (3/19/13) and at Quincy (4/21/13) . . . Earned two saves, those were recorded at Missouri S&T and at Quincy.

PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Ethan prepped at Ozark High School and transfers to Drury from Crowder Community College where he was the team MVP in 2012 ... He earned First Team all-state and all-conference honors his junior and senior seasons at Ozark High School ... Mather was named Wendy's Athlete of the Week at Ozark ... Helped Ozark win the state title in 2008 ... Originally signed with NCAA Division I Arizona State University after his prep career ... Mather went 8-1 with eight saves this past spring at Crowder, compiling a 1.95 earned run average with 60 strikeouts in 64 innings pitched ... "We are very happy to add an arm as strong as Ethan's," Stratton says. "His decision to come back close to home and be a Panther allows him to join some of his Ozark and Crowder teammates. Ethan will get the ball in big situations. Whether it is in the form of starts, short relief or long relief, we know he will come out there and attack the hitters." ... Mather, who will have two years of eligibility with the Panthers, will be rejoining former Ozark teammates John Neill, Brett Neill and Corey Wiley on the current DU roster, a foursome that helped coach Mike Essick's Tigers claim a state championship in 2009 .... Mather pitched for the Joplin Outlaws of the MINK league and had a 2.75 ERA and four saves with 31 strikeouts in 19.2 innings earlier this year.
