Chase is a local product from Springfield Kickapoo High School where he was a two year starter and three year letterwinner for the Chiefs . . . He earned First Team All-District and Second Team All-Conference honors his senior season and earned the Varsity Coaches Award his junior season in 2012 . . . Grubb helped Kickapoo advance to the quarterfinals of state his sophomore and senior seasons . . . Kickapoo beat Rockhurst High School his senior season for the first time in the school's history which helped the Chiefs get ranked fourth in the state . . . His SSC team won the MRL League in 2008 . . . Played for Coach Eric Sorlie for five years with SSC and for Coach Ben Hamilton for a year with Southwest United . . . DECA National qualifier in 2013, DECA state qualifier 2012 and 2013 . . . Earned a Seal of Excellence in Marketing and Social Studies . . . Earned the top marketing award given by Kickapoo from the Business teachers.
