A 5-foot-8 midfielder from St. Dominic High School in O'Fallon, Missouri, Michael was named the 2008 Class 2 Missouri Player of the Year and helped St. Dominic win the 2008 and 2009 State Titles. . . St. Dominic also won three conference and two district titles. . . Michael was a 2009 First Team All-State pick and a Second Team All-Metro selection. . .
