SENIOR
Finished 10th at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree and was 11th at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite . . . Had a top time in the 5K of 18:56.13 at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite.

JUNIOR
Ran in three races for the Panthers in 2012 and had her top finish at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships where she was 55th (23:59.50) ... Also ran at the NCAAI-II Regionals and at the Sean Earle Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola-Chicago.

SOPHOMORE
A top runner for the DU Cross Country team, Brenda finished 18th at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships with a time of 23:02, fourth best in the 6K by a Panther runner all-time. . . Ran a 18:44.70 at the Missouri Southern State Stampede for her top time of the year to place 38th, which was the fifth best time by a Panther runner in the 5K record books. . . Was the Panthers top finisher at the Sean Earle Lakefront Meet with a time of 19:25.

FRESHMAN
Had a top time of 19:30 in the 5K at the Missouri Southern State Stampede and finished 73rd. . . Also ran at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree and ran a time of 20:03. . . Due to a stress fracture in her toe she was unable to compete for the rest of the cross country season.

PREP...
Was a top runner in her native Spain and won the 1,500 meter of the Galician Regional Under 18 Outdoor Championships and placed second at the Galician Regional Under 18 Indoor Championships. . . Was a semifinalist in the 800 meter of Spain Nationals U18 indoors Championship. . . Broke Galician records in the 1,000 meter for both outdoor and indoors. . . Has run best times of 2:17 in the 800 meter, 4:49 in the 1,500 meter and 10:39 in the 3,000 meter.
