2020-21
Was 3rd in the 10,000 meters at the Dick Cochran Classic (41:25.11)...finished 12th in the 10,000 meters at the GLVC Championships (40:08.64).

2019-20
Posted a career-best time in the 5K of 19:51.7 at the Arkansas Chile Pepper Festival…Posted a career-best 6K time of 23:57.4 at the NCAA Division II Midwest Region Championships...competed in four indoor meets...was 5th in the 3000 at the UCM Inv. (11:24.25)...finished 16th in the 5000 at the GLVC championship (19:05.40).

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a South Africa National triathlon champion in Junior Elite U/19, in Elite U-23 and also represented South Africa in the Youth Olympic Games in 2014...Africa Continental Triathlon Champion U-19.

Daughter of Adri and Rika Vermaas...Major is Clinical & Behavioral Neuroscience and Sociology...also on Drury's triathlon team.
