Karissa made eight starts and played in 16 games.  She took four shots on the season with two of those coming in the Panthers season finale at Rockhurst...Eaned Academic All-GLVC honors for the second straight season.

2017
Played in 15 games for the Panthers as a defender...recorded two shots vs. William Jewell....named to GLVC All-Academic team.

HIGH SCHOOL
A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she was the MVP of Oak Park High School…Earned tournament MVP honors for the Oak Park Tournament…Earned the Leadership Award in 2014 and in 2016…was named Top Defenseman in 2015 for Oak Park…Helped Oak Park to a first place finishes at the 2016 MSA Cup and at the 2013 Indoor games…Was on the second place Western Canada Games team, the MSA Cup runner-up team in 2015 and was on the second place High School Provincial finisher in 2014.

Best moment you’ve had as an athlete:  In her freshman soccer season on the varsity team they made it into A-Side Playoffs and as a team they won A-Side Finals in a shoot-out where her current co-captain and her scored two of the five goals.
