McDonald was a four-year starter at Glendale HS under head coach Jeff Rodgers and was a Second Team All-State selection in 2021...She was selected to the All-Region team in 2019 and 2021 and was a two-time All-Ozark Conference selection during her high school career...McDonald was part of Glendale's state quarterfinals appearance in 2019...She played club soccer for Sporting Springfield SC and was part of a Missouri State Cup finalist squad in 2019.
