Posted a career high six block assists in the Panthers opener vs. Newman and had five block assists in matches vs. Cameron and vs. East Central at the Southwest Baptist Tournament ... Posted a career high 11 kills twice, coming vs. Lake Superior State and at Southwest Baptist and had 140 on the season... Was a two-time Second Team All-Galveston County selection and a Second Team All-District selection last season for Clear Creek High School in Houston, Texas. Amanda helped Clear Creek to a 28-11 record and a BiDistrict qualification. Clear Creek posted a mark of 115-36 during her four years there. In 2008 they were 41-5 and ranked seventh in the nation, were state finalists and District Champions. In 2007 Amanda earned All-District Honorable Mention honors and helped Clear Creek to a Regional Final finish. Was an excellent student who graduated with a 4.46 grade point average. Amanda was a member of the National Honor Society, was a two time Superintendent Scholar and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also earned Academic All-State honors two times.
