Joined the Drury volleyball program for a season after playing 2012-13 with the DU Lady Panthers basketball team as a guard . . . Played in 19 sets and posted 14 kills with a season high five vs. Missouri S&T (10/8/13) . . . Had four kills vs. Minot State (9/14/13) . . . Had four digs vs. Missouri S&T and six on the season, posted three block assists and had two assists.

Played in 27 games and made five starts for the Lady Panthers ... Had a season high five points vs. Wisconsin-Parkside in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament ... Dished out 26 assists her best outing coming vs. Quincy on January 19th when she had four ... Had three assists vs. Lewis (1/3/13) ... Pulled down 35 boards with five vs. Northeastern State (11/28/12) and four boards in three games ... Was 2-for-2 from the free throw line in games vs. Barry (12/17/12) and at Rockhurst (2/23/13) ... Had a 4.0 grade point average at Chadron State and earned Nebraska Division II RMAC Academic All-Conference honors as a sophomore and a junior ... While at Hershey High School, Marla set the school record for most points scored in a season and averaged 17.8 points per game ... Marla earned All-Conference and All-Area honors twice and was a Second Team C-1 All-State selection ... Was named Conference MVP for Nebraskaland Radio twice ...
