Finished her two seasons at Drury with 1221 career digs and was a key part of the Panthers success in 2015 and 2016, two of the best seasons in the programs history.
SENIOR
McKenna led the Panthers with 659 digs, third most in a single season by a Panther...Posted a season high 33 digs vs. William Jewell with 32 coming vs. Rockhurst...Poynter helped the Panthers to two of their best seasons in the programs history going 20-12 in 2016 and 21-11 in 2015...Had a season best eight assists vs. Maryville and had 16 serving aces on the year with two aces in four matches.
JUNIOR
McKenna led the Panthers and was sixth in the GLVC with 562 digs. . . had a season high of 41 digs at Washburn on September 5 . . . Played in 113 sets and had 89 assists. . . Poynter had 24 serving aces on the 2015 campaign with three in matches vs. Missouri Southern on September 22 and vs. Saginaw Valley State.
PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Was a Second Team All-KJCCC and second team All-Region selection . . . Helped Cowley County win the National title in 2013 and a third place finish in 2014. . . Led Cowley County CC in aces both seasons and led team with 404 digs in 2014. . . Averaged 5.05 digs per set in 2014 and was a NJCAA Superior Academic Achievement honoree in 2014. . . Was a First team All-League libero twice, earned second team all-league honors as a sophomore for Maize South High School . . . Led Maize South with 322 digs in 2012 and also led team in aces. . . Graduated with a 3.925 grade point average and was a member of the President's Honor Roll.
