Helped Mineral Area CC to a 10^th place finish at the NJCAA National Championships and a District K title…earned First Team All-Regional XVI honors…the middle hitter averaged 1.33 kills per set and 0.75 blocks per set last year for a team that went 27-9 and advanced to the NJCAA national tournament…she was named second team All-Missouri Community College Athletic Conference in 2016… Covington was named Scholar Athlete of the Year for 2015-16 and for 2016-17 at Mineral Area …earned Class 1 First Team All-State at New Haven High School…named the Four Rivers Conference Player of the Year in 2014 and was a First Team All-District honoree… Covington averaged 4.3 kills per set at New Haven High School for a team that went 31-5-1 and got to the Class 1 state semifinals and a Four Rivers Conference title in 2014.
