A pair of goals by
Jack Mathis coming at (2:13) on a penalty kick and at (85:35) gave the 18
th ranked Drury men's soccer team their sixth straight win in 2-0 shutout over Illinois-Springfield at Harrison Stadium/The Curry Sports Complex on Sunday.
Drury is now 12-2 overall and 10-2 GLVC and Illinois-Springfield falls to 4-10 overall and 2-10 in GLVC play.
Drury posted a 15-2 shots advantage and heled a nine to three edge of corners. Drury had a four to two shots on goal edge as well.
Logan Ponche tallied two saves and racked up his seventh shutout of the season and Kyle Hamilton had two saves for UIS.
