KANSAS CITY – A goal by Evan Craig two minutes into the second half gave Rockhurst a 1-0 GLVC victory over the Drury men's soccer team and snapped a six game Panther winning streak at Bourke Field on Friday.
Drury is now 12-3 overall and 10-3 GLVC and Rockhurst improved to 8-4-2 overall and 8-3-2 in the GLVC.
Two minutes into the second half Craig scored inside the right post eight yards out off a Paul Dean assist to give Rockhurst the 1-0 win. Drury outshot the Hawks by a 12-7 total and both team posted three shots on goal. Drury also posted an eight to two edge on corners.
Nick Ammann took a team high four shots with one of those on goal.
Logan Ponche notched two saves in goal for DU.
The Drury men's soccer team will host William Jewell on Sunday at Harrison Stadium/The Curry Sports Complex at 2:30 p.m.
