Mina House who posted 11 kills and hit .688 the Drury volleyball Panthers took three straight sets from Illinois-Springfield for a 3-0 win and extended their winning streak to five games Saturday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
Drury improves to 13-8 overall and 4-8 in the GLVC while Illinois-Springfield falls to 8-13 overall and 1-11 in GLVC having a four game winning streak snapped.
House had no errors on 16 attacks and a season high 11 digs to pace the Panthers who hit .386 for the match and had four players hit over the .400 mark.Â
BJ Specht had a team high 14 kills and hit .423,
Dakota Santore hit .429 with just two errors for eight kills and
Chloe Foster hit .400 with seven kills and just one error on 15 attacks.
Nora Palermo had a team high nine kills and hit .600 for the Prairie Stars with no errors on 15 attacks. UIS hit .238 for the match with 30 kills and 10 errors on 84 attacks.Â
Drury will host McKendree on Sunday at the O'Reilly Family Event Center with match time set for 1 p.m.
