Nick Ammann and
Charles Guelly scored two goals each and Drury rolled to a 6-0 victory over Maryville in their Great Lakes Valley Conference men's soccer match Friday night at Harrison Stadium in the Curry Sports Complex.
Ammann scored his fourth and fifth goals of the season in the first 6:21 of the match to give the Panthers (7-2, 5-2 in the GLVC) a quick 2-0 advantage. He added an assist on Guelly's first goal, which came just 33 seconds into the second half as DU would score four times after halftime.
Jack Mathis scored off a free kick from 19 yards out at 47:58 to make it 4-0, then Guelly scored at 56:02 off a Mathis assist for the 5-0 cushion.
Alec Nagel's team-leading seventh goal came at 82:37 to close the scoring in Drury's biggest offensive output in GLVC play since a 7-0 win over Kentucky Wesleyan in 2012. The Panthers have now scored 17 goals in their last four matches.
The Panthers outshot the Saints (3-4-3, 2-3-2) by a 13-3 margin, including an 11-0 advantage in shots on goal.
