LIBERTY - The Drury volleyball Panthers won their second straight GLVC road match 3-2 over William Jewell here on Friday.
Drury improved to 16-10 overall and 7-10 in the GLVC and William Jewell falls to 3-25 overall and 1-16 in the GLVC. The Panthers handed the Cardinals their ninth straight loss by scores of 25-16, 16-25, 25-19, 19-25 and 15-12.
Drury was led by
Dakota Santore who had 11 kills and
Brooke Antenen and
BJ Specht who each added 10 kills.Â
Laynie Timmons had the top hitting percentage for DU (.368) with eight kills and added six block assists.Â
Bridget Justis had a team high 32 digs and Specht added 18.Â
Ording and Marquardt each posted 11 kills for the Cardinals and Lindhorst had 37 assists.
Both teams struggled at the net hitting under the .100 mark with Drury hitting .094 and Jewell hit .086.Â
The Drury volleyball Panthers will continue GLVC road play in their regular season finale at Rockhurst tomorrow at 3 p.m.
